Damage Waiver

The Lantern and Larks portfolio is included within our Damage Waiver scheme. This covers the cost of making good any loss or damage to the selected property and/or its contents caused through act or omission of you (or any of your guests or accompanying animals) up to £100 in most cases.

For adult and large group bookings where the full site is booked, a security deposit of £500 is required instead. This will be refunded within 7 days of your departure, if no damages are reported.

Where any such damage caused exceeds the Damage Waiver amount, you agree to pay to Lantern & Larks, acting on behalf of the owner, upon written demand, any reasonable costs incurred in making good any such loss or damage above the predetermined amount.

If the property booked is not included in the Damage Waiver scheme, then you agree to pay to Lantern & Larks, acting on behalf of the owner, upon written demand, any reasonable costs incurred in making good any such loss or damage not covered by any forfeited security deposit.
