Kittisford Barton
Having lived and worked on the farm for most of my 28 years, I have a detailed knowledge of the wildlife, livestock, crops and the walks we have around the farm, as well as a good knowledge of the local area, especially the local pubs. I can pop up almost anywhere across the 280 acres of the farm, but guests will regularly see me morning and evening checking on the animals next to the honesty shop.

Exton Park
The Exton Park site opened in June 2015 and I have enjoyed looking after everything here since then. Before this I worked for many years in the Visitor Centre at Rutland Water, this involved being a local tour guide… So although I am not a local, I do know the area pretty well! I am a very proud grandma with three gorgeous granddaughters and a very lively grandson. I look forward to welcoming you to Exton Park.

Sweffling Hall
Here at Sweffling Hall we run a commercial free range unit housing 16,000 hens on 22 acres of lovely wooded pastures. We produce our eggs for a variety of supermarkets and product lines as well as our farmyard stall. Our glamping site is surrounded by arable fields where each year a different crop is grown such as wheat for bread flour, oilseed rape for oil, sugar beet for British sugar, barley for brewing alcohol, vining peas for frozen peas and the occasional trial crop such as potatoes or hemp. We are all in love with farming and love to talk to guests about our chickens, wildlife and current crops. We feel truly blessed to live in such a beautiful place.

Bleasdale
Bleasdale Estate is owned by Jeremy Duckworth who is often seen around the site making sure guests are ok. The site has two managers, Joanne and Dorothy, who have both grown up nearby and have a great local knowledge of the area.
Joanne
Bleasdale
I have lived in this area all my life, having been brought up in Garstang. We moved to Bleasdale 16 years ago after my father-in-law retired and we took over the farm. As well as helping on the site, I help my husband on the farm.
Dorothy
Bleasdale
I was brought up on a farm half an hour away from the Bleasdale Estate, and moved to Bleasdale 15 years ago. I am married with three teenage children and really enjoy helping out with the calf rearing on a nearby working farm.
